Hello@Suneye1, The existing article Pallar is a subcaste of Devendrakula Velalar. And the subcaste was officially merged with Devendrakula Velalar, so two separate artciles for same topic is necessary. So i attempted for a REDIRECT by adding the source for the official merge and clarification. I request you for the redirect and merger with Devendrakula Velalar. Moreover wikipedia is not dictionary to hold multiple artciles for a particular topic -MPCBE 17:35, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I asked why were you removing sourced content. This still seems to be a WP:COMMONNAME. I know very little about the name change of the community but the article says, "...however their original caste name remains valid and they are still part of the Scheduled Caste list.". If the name is still valid, you are not supposed to remove it. - SUN EYE 1 19:11, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Merge.The article regarding Pallar should be merged with Devendrakula Velalar, since wikipedia is not dictionary to have multiple articles for a specific content. Moreover after been official merger it's fine to merge it in wikipedia.Ccmtt12345 (talk)
