"Terminal"
Song

Terminal is the second single from Isn't It Romantic?, Filipino singer/actress Megastar Sharon Cuneta's 2006 album under Sony BMG Philippines.[1][2] The song was officially released in the middle of 2006 as a follow up to "It Takes A Man And A Woman", the lead off single. Cuneta's acoustic rehash of the Rupert Holmes classic was well received by fans and critics.

The song is given a unique interpretation as the lyrics narrative were delivered from a female point of view, the line "I had to get back to the kids and my wife" was changed to " I had to get back to the kids and my life". The Philippine Daily Inquirer commends the Megastar for her “unique ability to turn mush into musical magic - suddenly, “Terminal” is no longer the trite and soppy standard. And our heart goes out to the lonely career woman who is wistfully singing about finding romance at a bus terminal, and passing up on a love that might have been her escape from an empty, arid life. Such is the power of Cuneta’s storytelling gift and emotive ability”.[3]

Buoyed by "Terminal" and fifteen other pop classic remakes, "Isn't It Romantic?" has since achieved 10 x Platinum status and received a Diamond Record Award in recognition of its phenomenal sales.
