The High Society are a glam rock band from Birmingham, United Kingdom.
History
The group was formed by Maxi Browne and Martyn Nelson of former group King Adora. The High Society formed in early 2006 under the name The Bombshell AC's. By March of the same year, they had renamed themselves The High Society and played their first live gig. Since then they have had some modest success but have yet to break into the mainstream. The band have had an unsteady line up since the beginning.
Maxi Browne and Martyn Nelson have announced a reunion of their old band, King Adora, but it is uncertain if this marks the end of The High Society.
