Umrahme is an online platform that assists Muslims worldwide by providing information and resources for pilgrims performing Umrah, a pilgrimage to Makkah that can be undertaken at any time of the year. The platform offers services for booking and managing the entire trip, including accommodation, flights, visas, and transportation.[1]It provides resources such as guides, visa information, travel tips, and educational content about the history and significance of Umrah. The platform operates in association with Nusuk and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. [2][3]

History and Development

Umrahme was developed by Traveazy Group in 2017 to address logistical challenges and information gaps faced by agents and pilgrims, introducing a digital approach to Umrah bookings. [4]It was initially launched as a B2B solution and later relaunched as a B2C brand, allowing pilgrims to book directly online.[5][4]

Founder

Umrahme was co-founded by Mohammed BinMahfouz, who has over 23 years of experience in Hajj & Umrah, travel and tourism, hospitality, IT, and banking. He serves as the CEO of Umrahme.[6]

Reception

The platform has been noted for its role in streamlining the planning and management of Umrah, allowing pilgrims to better focus on the spiritual aspects of their journey.[7]
