Rich Schefren is a business strategist specializing in Internet Marketing.[1] Schefren is the founder and CEO of a consulting firm called Strategic Profits. The consultant is known for helping both traditional and Internet-based businesses to expand their online presence.[2][3] Schefren is credited with growing three separate multi-million dollar businesses, The Antique Boutique, Dynamic Changes, and Strategic Profits.[4][5] Schefren’s services are offered through his website, www.strategicprofits.com, and office of the same name, headquartered in Delray Beach, Florida.[6][7]
Early life
After high school, Schefren studied Accountancy and Strategic Planning at Case Western Reserve University.[8][9] Accounting firm Arthur Andersen, Schefren’s college scholarship benefactor, recruited him to its Strategic Planning Division.[10]
Career
In 1994, Schefren left Arthur Andersen to pursue his first independent business enterprise.[11] He took over his family’s struggling clothing store, The Antique Boutique, in Manhattan.[12][13] Schefren transformed the business into a techno-inspired destination popular with famous designers and celebrities.[13] Under Shefren’s leadership, the store’s revenue increased significantly.[5][11]
Schefren later shifted his attention from the fashion industry to hypnotherapy.[13] He started a chain of hypnosis centers called Dynamic Changes, and developed an online presence to promote them.[14][15][13] Shefren became known for his successful marketing campaigns.[11] He then shared his Internet marketing strategies with colleagues in the profession, spawning a “coaching program.”[15][13][14] The experience led to the formal launch of his consulting business, Strategic Profits, in 2004.[9]
As the company evolved, Schefren developed relationships with leaders in Direct Response and Internet Marketing including Jay Abraham, Dan Kennedy, John Carlton, and Alex Mandossian.[13] He went on to formulate and share his own business philosophies in downloadable business reports.[9] His first free publication, entitled “The Internet Business Manifesto,” outlined strategies for companies to “systematize their businesses.”[16][17] He also writes a marketing newsletter called “One Step Ahead.”[18] In addition to his reports, Schefren offers seminars, training modules, and publications designed to increase his clients’ productivity and profits.[19]
Strategic Profits
Rich Schefren provides entrepreneurial consulting services through Strategic Profits.[1] Strategic Profits offers business coursework: Business Growth System 2.0, Business Acceleration Program, The Founders Club, Guided Profit System 2.0, Profit Hacks, and Profit Prophecy.[18][12][20]
