Request reason:
I removed some text that was not even written as a complete sentence, and was redundant with data given in an infobox. An administrator has blocked me because they disagreed with that edit. Request reason:
I did address the reason for the block. I did not cause any damage or disruption; I was blocked by someone because they disagreed with an edit I made. They first claimed that "removal of sourced information is vandalism" - that is obviously not true, and it's not what I did in any case - the data was still present elsewhere in the article. Then they said "I am sorry but you are not in a position to tell me what to do and to edit-war over removal of material which was here for 10 years". I find the editor's statement to be very arrogant, and again incorrect - the data about population was *still in the article*. So that is the situation - an editor has blocked me because they disagreed with my edit, which they seem to have misunderstood anyway. I think that's obviously not reasonable, and the block should be lifted. A big sleep (talk) 10:23, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
