You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator. Decline reason: You are correct that many people ignore copyrights, but we do not. People may upload images taken from the newspaper, but you can not use them. We don't particularly care who does do it, or how many people do it. We do not. I don't feel that you have grasped this yet. I see that you want to use Wikipedia for a school project. My suggestion is to ask your teacher if you can do a project on copyrights. You can post it here. If it looks like you understand the issues, I'll consider unblocking you, but I do not yet see any evidence you understand how seriously we take copyrights. I was originally posting this for your last request, which I see was turned down. You are asking to name the day you will be unblocked. That's easy. You can go to the greek language Wikipedia, [1] if you want to speak greek, but they won't except copyright violations anymore than we do. You still seem to grasp that what you did was illegal. i.e. against the law, a crime, a misdemeanour, a felony, an offense, etc (Any of these gettting through to you?). - I can see you have had a lot of problems, above.
- You'll have to write in English here; sorry. This is the English Wikipedia, so we do insist on that. There is a Greek language version of Wikipedia, at el:Πύλη:Κύρια.
- You absolutely cannot upload copyright materials here. Not at all. Never.
- It doesn't matter if the pictures have been used elsewhere. It doesn't matter if "lots of people do".
- That is not debatable. It's the law. Many people break the laws, by uploading copyright images. On Wikipedia, we do not.
- You will have to understand that, and convince people that you understand it, before you are allowed to edit here. Chzz ► 23:19, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
OK, I appreciate English is not your first language, so let's try to help...
Copyright is the ownership of the right to copy. So if you create an intellectual work, the copyright (the right to copy) is yours, and nobody can copy that work without your permission. So if I take a photograph, I own the copyright in that photograph, and Wikipedia cannot use it without my permission (and as it happens, I have uploaded a number of my photographs and given Wikipedia, and anyone else, the right to use and copy them, in accordance with Wikipedia's requirements - see Wikipedia:Copyrights). Copying intellectual property without permission of the owner is a breach of copyright, is illegal in most jurisdictions, and is strictly prohibited by Wikipedia. That's simplified (for example, if you produce intellectual property in the employ of someone else, the agreement might give them the copyright) but it should be enough to start.
