Semantic web

Currently much data on our computers which we cannot browse, or process by, for example, pulling into a spreadsheet, graphing it or joining it with other data. This includes personal data like calendars, playlists, GPS tracks, and bank statements; enterprise data product and workflow and resources, and public data such as weather, events and the properties of materials.

Thank you for your contribution to Semantic web, but would you clarify the above paragraph? It's meaning is unclear. --Pkchan 02:25, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

2007-01-20 Sorry it was so long before I gt the message. The paragraph now seems to have disaappeared. I don't have time just now to chase up the history. I think that the page needs a lot of bringing up to date to refelct the idea of data interop between appplications.

hi

I'm doing my history day topic on your tim :) very interesting things i've learned about you and the web so far..... What's your favorite browser? thx for the web by the way lol if we only had the internet this would probably still be only for scientists or we would have xanadu which would be very weird because you can't delete anything on it

I find it somewhat hard to believe that nobody has picked up on (or at least commented) that you are editing the talk page for the Tim Berners-Lee article in the first person. I wanted to let you know that the link to "Why you should not be a Unitarian Universalist By Rev. Dr. Tony Larsen," is broken on your w3 bio page. I'm going to be applying to the neuroscience Ph.D. program at MIT this fall. Maybe I'll get a chance to catch a lecture if you still give them from time to time. I have some pretty big ideas too ya know! braininformatics.com (p.s. if this isn't THE Tim B.L. I like your joke) Niubrad (talk) 15:52, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you really are Sir Tim Berners-Lee, then i) thank you for the web and ii) it would be a good idea to verify that by providing a link to your profile page here, from your W3C page.

i) You are welcome. Go ahead and use it whenever yo like ;-) ii) Added a link to this page from my W3 page, as "my identity ion wikipedia" -- TimBL

Would you also be willing to add an hCard microformat to that page? I'll gladly supply the relevant mark-up. Andy Mabbett (User:Pigsonthewing); Andy's talk; Andy's edits 14:22, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have Sorry, I do have machine readable stuff at card.rdf and card.n3, I don't have time to put hcard in just now. --TimBL

HTML5 DRM

Do you suggest we lock up Wikipedia after you're done with web browsers? Just curious.
