Vangos (Greek: Βάγγος) is a Greek village located around 11 km northeast of Megalopoli, about 52 km southeast of Andritsaina, about 23 km southeast of Karytaina and about 44 km west-southwest of Tripoli. Vangos had a population of 106 in 2001 for the village. Vangos is in the municipality of Megalopoli. Vangos is connected with a road to Tripoli to the southwest and Karytaina along with Stemnitsa to the west which is connected with the Megalopoli - Alonistaina Road 5 km west.

Geography

Vagos is situated in a mountain slopes overlooking at the river which empties into the Alfeios westward. The mountains cover the area and are made up of rocks with grasslands and bushes along with a couple of forests and ungevetated spots at higher elevations. Farmlands are within the village. Its panorama includes the Lykaio mountains to the west, its nearby mountains can be seen.
