The Vermont Lunar CubeSat is a CubeSat satellite launched in 2013 by Vermont Technical College in a joint partnership with Norwich University and funded in part by a grant from NASA and in part by voluntary donations. The satellite, costing 30,000 US Dollars to launch - with NASA offering discounted charges to run the launch - served as a testing model for guidance and navigation pending future launches.[1]
