Gianna Perez (born February 4, 2000), known professionally as Gigi Perez, or simply gigi,[5][6] is an American singer-songwriter.[1] She has received praise for her confessional songwriting.[7][8][9][10]
History
[edit]Perez was born in New Jersey and raised in Florida.[1] In 2018, while in high school, she began releasing music with band Wendy Lane.[6] After attending Berklee College of Music,[11] she attracted attention with the 2021 release of her debut solo single “Sometimes (Backwood)".[12] Her debut EP How To Catch a Falling Knife was released in 2023, via Mogul Vision and Interscope Records.[12][13]
