Maureen Ann Kaiser is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist based in Phoenix, Arizona. Known for her storytelling through music, Maureen's work spans a variety of genres, including country, rock, ballads, Americana folk, and pop. Over the years, she has built an extensive catalog of over 200 songs, many of which have been performed by musicians in Nashville, Detroit, and Phoenix​​​​.[1]

Early Life and Career:

Before her transition into music, Maureen owned and operated American Speedy Printing Center in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, from 1990 to 2010. She also founded Lotus Designs & Events, LLC, where she currently serves as President and CEO.[2]

Her interest in music was sparked during a team-building exercise at a conference, leading her to participate in songwriting boot camps in Nashville​​​​. [3]

Maureen's formal entry into the music industry began in 2010 with the establishment of Mayhem Lane Lyrics.[3] Her catalog boasts over 200 songs, many of which have been performed by musicians in Nashville, Detroit, and Phoenix.

She has also contributed her music to the reality competition series, Barbecue Countryby producing its theme song[4]. One of her notable works includes the song "Fly Like Amelia," which she wrote with empowering young women in mind.[2]

Maureen has collaborated with prominent musicians such as Sherrie Austin and Will Rambeaux. She also partnered with Taja Sevelle, a singer-songwriter known for her work with Prince. Together, they have written music, with Maureen contributing as a co-writer, producer, and guitarist.[5] In 2018, Maureen formed her band, Mayhem Lane, with her Phoenix based studio musicians. Her band has performed at various events, showcasing her original music alongside popular covers​. [1]

Maureen is the music director of a documentary film called "Chika Mango," inspired by Mitch Albom’s memoir "Finding Chika." She oversees the music selection and contributes original music to the film's soundtrack.[6] She also conducts songwriting workshops as corporate team-building exercises that are designed to engage participants in the creative process of songwriting while providing insights into the music industry​​.[2]

Kaiser IV and is active in various civic and fundraising organizations.[2] She is the mother of two daughters, Michelle Christensen and Jillian Christensen, and the step-mother to Sara Thurston and Joseph Kaiser V. Maureen is involved in several inner-city volunteer advisory roles and has served on the boards of multiple non-profit organizations, including Forgotten Harvest and Child Help​​.[8]
