Ravi Modi is an Indian billionaire businessman who is the founder and chairman of franchise-based apparel company Vedant Fashions.[1]
Early life and education
[edit]Modi was born and raised in Kolkata, West Bengal as the third child.[2] He earned his bachelor's degree from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.[3]
Career
[edit]In 2001, Modi took ₹10,000 from his mother as a seed capital.[3] In 2016, he moved to a franchise model from company-owned and company-operated stores.[4]
Personal life
[edit]Modi married Shilpi Modi in 1987 and they have a son.[4]
Awards
