Summary

Description
English: Back when me and my Dad went on a trip to Atlanta and then went down to Talladega for the spring weekend in 2011, we visited the Motorsports Hall of Fame museum by the track and came across this rather famous piece of wrecked machinery, the car in which Mike Harmon destroyed during practice at the Bristol Motor Speedway for the 2002 Food City 250 in the then known NASCAR Busch series. His car shot up the track and he crashed into an entry gate coming off turn 2 which sheared his car apart completely and left him exposed to oncoming traffic, but thankfully Johnny Sauter drove low enough to avoid striking him, and Harmon amazingly walked away unharmed. The crash was eerily similar to when Michael Waltrip struck the same area during a Busch series race in 1990 which also tore his car apart, in which Waltrip also escaped serious injury too.
