He writes and produces music primarily in rock, country, and pop. ===With Aerosmith=== Frederiksen has worked with [[Aerosmith]] since the mid-1990s. He is one of the "Boneyard Boys", the collaborative group of musicians responsible for much of the creative, songwriting, and production efforts in Aerosmith; [[Mark Hudson (musician)|Mark Hudson]], [[Steven Tyler]], and [[Joe Perry (musician)|Joe Perry]] are the other members of this group.
