''''Plumbo''' is a [[Norway|Norwegian]] [[rock]] and [[folk rock]] shit band from [[Sande, Vestfold]], [[Norway]]. The three-piece band consists of Lars Erik Blokhus (vocals, guitar), Tommy Elstad (bass) and Hasse Rønningen (drums) with assistance from supporting musician Glenn Hauger on accordion, flute. The repertoire includes [[Norwegian language|Norwegian]] songs with a traditional twist, rock music elements and international appeal. Although around since 2002 with album ''Full åpning'' followed by ''På vei til Harryland!'' in 2007, they exploded on the Norwegian Albums Chart with ''Råkk'n Råll Harry'' reaching #11. In 2011, they took part in Norway's "Drømmelåta i Holmestrand" music competition [[TV 2 (Norway)|TV 2]] television station with their song "Drømmeland". === 2012 racism scandal === During the Spellemannsprisen 2012 award ceremony, the band caused a major stir when vocalist Blokhus made a racism joke hinted at coloured rappers [[Madcon]], who were presenting the award for "Hit of the Year" to the group. The band was booed off-stage by the audience, with the two presenters standing in shock on stage as the band left. As the show was being shown live to the entire country, several million viewers witnessed the event. During the after-party for the ceremony, several other guests expressed disgust at the band and the vocalist in particular, such as one of the other musicians at the party pouring beer over the singer before cursing him off during a live interview.
