Older relatives usually give money. * Spouses often give jewelry, clothes, watches, perfume, or makeup. *Parents may give their children clothes, shoes, toys, books, or electronic gadgets. * Parents and in-laws may give adult children clothes or cosmetics. * Friends usually give each other eidi cards. * Siblings usually give each other eidi cards. == Significance of EID == Eid Al-Fitr is one of the huge festivals on the Islamic calendar. They celebrate at the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting, in which Muslims fast daily from before dawn until sunset. It is celebrated by a large, community-wide prayer service in the morning, families meet together, exchange gifts, and everyone enjoys the festivities.
