If you have seen him speak he has a thick Yorkshire accent. This also adds consistency with other descriptions in the article.

Few credible people classify Scots as a seperate language it is merely a dialect. It will be just confusing to people reading this from outside of Great Britain who will probably assume it refers to Gaelic.

A man who was born in England to an English family but grew up in Scotland is British not Scottish even if he runs for Scotland in some competitions. I also switched the order of GB and Scotland as the former is more important as this is the team that is run for in the important competitions such as World Championships and Olympics.
