Before my initial edit accounting for NC-09, it showed three fewer C and one more R.

Phil Bredesen won the city limits in 2018 with 49.6% of the vote to Marsha Blackburn's 49.2%, and the Tennessee General Assembly gerrymandered the city to prevent it from electing any Democrats to the state house in 2022. There are some precincts where Democrats get about 60% of the vote and one even 75%; it's not like Lebanon or Cookeville where it's a struggle to get 50% anywhere.
