Pagon is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist David Finch, the character first appeared in The New Avengers #1 (December 2004).[1] He belongs to the fictional extraterrestrial Skrull species.[2]
Publication history
[edit]Pagon was created by Brian Michael Bendis and David Finch, and debuted as a cameo in The New Avengers #1 (December 2004) and appeared with a full appearance in New X-Men vol. 2 #13 (May 2005); the character impersonated Elektra as a lead-in to the Secret Invasion storyline.[3]
Fictional character biography
[edit]Pagon was a War-Skrull and a lover of Veranke. Pagon utilized the powers of Invisible Woman, Colossus and the Thing to severely blindside Elektra who he impersonated (due to Siri's death).[4] His infiltration as the leader of the Hand and Hydra resulted in arranging the Raft's breakout,[5] and harassing the X-Men.[6] Pagon kills, resurrects and imprisons Maya Lopez to use as a weapon before the New Avengers rescue his victim who stabs the Skrull to death.[7] Pagon's death was a planned major "reveal" of the Skrulls' conspiracy towards Earth.[8] An autopsy on Pagon's body was done by Iron Man and Mister Fantastic.[9]
Powers and abilities
[edit]Pagon possesses the ability to physically transform himself like other Skrulls.[10]

- Pagon / Elektra appears as a boss in Marvel Heroes.[citation needed]
- Pagon appears in Secret Invasion, portrayed by Killian Scott.[11][12] This version is the Skrull Resistance's second-in-command who posed as an unidentified man. Pagon would perform reconnaissance missions alongside Gravik in locating the Harvest but gets callously murdered once he spoke out against the first Super-Skrull's leadership.
