keep: I wrote the article on the Great North Bog, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_North_Bog which is clearly a huge environmental programme which will have significant impact and involves many partners. A fact about coir in that article was nominated as a 'did you know' for wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Did_you_know_nominations/Great_North_Bog The research about coir is Shuttleworth's and she is quoted in the Guardian article. I recieved my alert from Women in Red project that 2022 is a year to focus on women in climate, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Women_in_Red/Meetup/214 asking for articles on women involved in research, lobbying, politics and related fields aimed at reducing the impact of climate on global warming. Since this research underpins a large policy change, it seemed like she would be notable. I am happy to try to make this link more clear in the article, and hope others will join in to add more about the knowledge exchange impact of research. This is my first contribution to that theme.Melissa Highton (talk) 11:58, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
