No reason for notability given (not in the man's function, nor in the references in the article): person is not notable by our standards (and the article reads like a resume). Drmies (talk) 17:39, 28 November 2020 (UTC)

- Comment He’s a Major General so isn’t he presumed notable? Mccapra (talk) 18:29, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
- Delete while his rank satisfies #2 of WP:SOLDIER that is an Essay, not a guideline and he lacks SIGCOV in multiple RS to meet WP:GNG. Mztourist (talk) 03:21, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
WeakKeep Like other active Major Generals like David Eastman, Rupert Jones, Tim Hyams, Nick Borton, Chris Ghika article should be kept, needs more references but don't use unverifiable references. BlueD954 (talk) 03:26, 29 November 2020 (UTC)- Keep. Clearly passes WP:SOLDIER as a general officer. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:46, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- Keep Agree that article is poor. Subjects passes WP:SOLDIER and WP:GNG. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 20:13, 2 December 2020 (UTC)
- Comment Sharon Nesmith As Director [of] Personnel has a good-written article and as 'Director' she's of equivalent level to Cole. So far, none of the other Army Command Directors: Director Reserves - Major-General Simon Graham, Director Support - Major-General Simon Hamilton, Director Basing and Infrastructure - Major-General David Southall, Director Army Legal Services - Major-General Alexander Taylor, Director Capability - Major-General Jeremy Bennett and Director Engagement and Communications - Major-General Neil Sexton have articles on Wiki - or do they? BlueD954 (talk) 12:51, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
- Keep. Passes WP:SOLDIER as a general officer. AfD is not clean-up. Edwardx (talk) 18:45, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
