[edit]- Marsia (history · last edit) from http://www.urduweb.org/mehfil/showthread.php?8014-%D9%85%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%AB%DB%8C%D9%90-%D8%A7%D9%86%DB%8C%D8%B3-%DB%94-%D8%A7%D9%86%D8%AA%D8%AE%D8%A7%D8%A8 and possible more. There also appears to be another wikipedia article copied into this one in its entirety, but I'm too tired at the moment to sort it out, so it's all blanked. - Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. Hey, User:Siddiqui! That said, I think we've gotten all the copyvio. I found a reverse infringement. The merge that still remains was non-creative content only, I think. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:25, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

- Terry Walsh (history · last edit) from see talk. Another one of DD's. Original version is three paragraphs long. Contains some real prose like, "but was sacked and replaced by fellow team mate". The sole reference doesn't say anything about Walsh's time with the Kookaburras so there is probably another source out there.*Kat* (talk) 07:00, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

- Dana Laframboise (history · last edit) from http://www.sicc.sk.ca/saskindian/a9900win04.htm I think this one needs to be deleted. Its foundational.--*Kat* (talk) 07:16, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
- William H. Young (NALC) (history · last edit) from http://www.nalc.org/nalc/officers/whybio.html. Literal copy of promotional text plus one unsourced new fact. Superp (talk) 07:36, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
- Theories of dyslexia (history · last edit) from http://brain.oxfordjournals.org/content/126/4/841.full. Nearly the entire article is a verbatim copy-and-paste from the introduction to a research article in a major journal. Neuromusic (talk) 15:24, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
- Article started as a close paraphrase, which I currently believe was introduced by the same contributor into Dyslexia and split. This is a major influx of copyrighted text. Contributor had a history of copyright issues around the same time that s/he indicated related to his disability: see [1]. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 19:12, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, it's taken forever to review this. :/ First, the rewrite seems fine. I've spot-checked throughout and compared to the specific source. This content began as an unattributed split. The copyright violation was expanded in the edit above, but began in June 2007, and it was indeed placed by the same contributor. This demonstrates that a pattern of copying was present in his or her contributions at least from June 2007 to June 2009, and that content remained in publication for over a year before being detected and corrected. This is concerning in terms of raising questions of what other copying may still be published. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 20:30, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

- Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. For reasons unclear to me, the tag was removed as "vandalism" and another contributor identified the copying...but nobody removed it. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 17:18, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

- Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. Out of process, but seems to have addressed the issue. I have, however, removed a chunk of original research. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:51, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

- Relisting. The contributor remove the template, changing some text but leaving copyvio. I've reblanked, protected and spoken to the contributor about it. I've also removed his Reviewer status. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:24, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

- Walter Wellman (history · last edit) from [2] By airship to the North Pole: an archaeology of human exploration, 1999, Peter Joseph Capelotti. There was extensive copy paste from Capelotti's 1999 book added here. Here I removed some parts, and rewrote others with inline citations. Several sentences are still uncited; they each need citation, they may be copyright violations or plagiarisms, I only checked some of them. See also Talk:Walter Wellman#Removed copyrighted text. -84user (talk) 23:47, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

- Benjamin Leigh Smith (history · last edit) from the 2005 book Encyclopedia of the Arctic, Volume 2 by Mark Nuttall. I added a {{cv-unsure}} tag to Talk:Benjamin Leigh Smith but to me the evidence appears very strong that there is a lot of word for word copypasta there. 84user (talk) 00:15, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
