Wiki-11233 gets into conflicts with me because of his insistence on adding charts that are either unsourced or are listed on WP:BADCHARTS. When I revert his edits, 83.109.100.230 comes to the rescue. Another example here.—Kww(talk) 14:28, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Evidence submitted by Kww

83.109.101.16 continues to insert the false information that 83.109.100.230 was blocked for. Obvious extension of the range. WHOIS shows it all as a part of a bit /16 range. Checkuser might be able to identify a smaller range that can be blocked effectively. At the very least, Wiki-11233 needs his block extended.—Kww(talk) 14:52, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Restoring edit by 83.109.101.239. 83.109.101.239 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) is an obvious sock of Wiki-11233, as 83.109.100.230 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) has already been confirmed as a sock. Additionally, after I placed this note on the IPs talk page, Wiki-11233 immediately responded with an unblock request, further confirming the link.—Kww(talk) 15:20, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Basically, the disruption continues with no sign of stopping. I am requesting a hard-block against the IP for a month, and would like to see if there is a range we can block with minimal collateral damage, because I'm not certain if this is the only IP address used by Wiki-11233. Both require a checkuser.—Kww(talk) 16:55, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Note: Undid close before archiving:The individual IP was never blocked. The checkuser simply said that a range block was impossible, not that the individual IP shouldn't be blocked. See this for confirmation.—Kww(talk) 12:54, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Strong emphasis on Jay Sean articles, coupled with insistence on adding trivial charts. Wiki-11233's original block was based on edit-warring trivial charts into Jay Sean articles. Wiki-11233 may be growing a bit stale: a Norwegian editor using Telenor that focuses on Jay Sean articles. His IP range should be quite obvious from the old reports. Qwerty-1004 has been on my radar for a while as probably being Wiki-11233 back again, due to editing focus and style. Tonight, after I removed edits from 83.109.101.251 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) due to them obviously being Wiki-11233, Qwerty-1004 immediately restored all the edits. It's remotely possible that Qwerty-1004 is a good-faith editor, so I'm requesting a checkuser.—Kww(talk) 03:14, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Prute-1 is a case of WP:DUCK, restoring edits by 83.109.101.251 (a Telenor IP) to Tonight (Jay Sean song), and editing only Jay Sean articles. Your1source is a bit dicier: created War (Jay Sean song) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) as the only edit. I think that Wiki-11233 has been at this long enough to know if the sock that creates an article gets traced to him, the article gets deleted, and took this approach to avoid that. Requesting checkuser to verify Your1source, and because Wiki-11233 always has some fairly persistent IPs. Blocking those is always a good idea.—Kww(talk) 22:38, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Note that "War" was requested by a Telenor IP March 17 at 15:22, and it was created by Your1source 37 minutes later.—Kww(talk) 23:51, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk declined Hmm, I'm thinking this can probably just be blocked without need for CU. Similar edits to past socks (see for instance [3], [4] and [5], [6] and [7], [8]), same MO, familiarity with wiki-markup, plus the account name of TurboPanda, a past sock of Wiki-11233, all indicate that this is a duck. Previous checks have not turned up sleepers (seems that he creates accounts as he needs them), autoblock should deal with the immediate IP in concern. Maybe-S2U is the last explicitly confirmed Wiki-11233 sock (see User talk:Maybe-S2U, where we discuss terms of the standard 6-month offer). I'm including that to help the checkuser have some fresh IP evidence. Areyoudown is now editing in pretty much exactly the same pattern as the last dozen Wiki-11233 socks. I'd like a checkuser to confirm (partially because being a PlayStation fan isn't a crime in and of itself, so there's a potential for false behavioural matching), and to scan for any sleepers (as there is an odd gap from Jan 17 to Feb 9 in Areyoudown's edit history, and I suspect another account was active during that time). —Kww(talk) 15:15, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I blocked Wecantdoanythingaboutit as a duck: account created the day after I blocked the last Wiki-11233 sock, primarily editing articles that have been semi-protected due to Wiki-11233's socking. There were a few edits to British film articles that seemed out-of-character, but I chalked that up to an effort to throw me off the track. When Wecantdoanythingaboutit asked to be unblocked, he claimed not to be Wiki-11233, but said that he was Ruth-2013. When I look at Ruth-2013's account, lo and behold, there are edits that clearly match the style of the ones that seemed out of place. Now I'm in a situation that I don't know whether to scold Ruth-2013 for socking, or block Ruth-2013 as yet another sock of Wiki-11233. I need a checkuser to see whether I've tangled things up. One way or the other, I think Wecantdoanythingaboutit's edits were probably on the WP:ILLEGIT side of alternate account usage, so checking to see if there are any more socks wrapped up with her is reasonable if it turns out to be a distinct case from Wiki-11233. —Kww(talk) 21:55, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've untagged Wecantdoanythingaboutit, and started a discussion with Ruth-2013.—Kww(talk) 14:49, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am nothing at all to do with this user. I am disgusted this has been brought up. Do a checkuser on my account if you don't believe me. In fact I will even give admin my number if they wish to discuss this. This is my first and only account. I have a interest in television and edit here for that reason and everything I put on the articles is what I believe to be fact. My name is Ruth Stevenson I live in hartlepool and know nothing at all about the user mentioned here. I have posted on User:Kww talk page also. Wecantdoanythingaboutit appears to have claimed he is me which is not the case. I have been a good editor here. When edit disputes arise I talk to the other users as much as possible and try to sauce most of my edits. What ever Wecantdoanythingaboutit has said about me is a complete lie I am really annoyed and upset about this.(Ruth-2013 (talk) 17:54, 11 April 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Also I will say for a fact I am nothing to do with wiki-112233 either. Ruth-2013 is my only account. Complete a check user on my account. I am innocent of what I am been accused of. If you would like to discuss this further on the telephone let me know and I will give you my phone number. (Ruth-2013 (talk) 18:33, 11 April 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Well, based on that response, I'm leaving Wecantdoanythingaboutit blocked. There's no good-faith analysis that results in him claiming to be Ruth-2013 to get unblocked while Ruth-2013 disclaims all knowledge of him. I will assume good faith regarding Ruth-2013's involvement.—Kww(talk) 18:40, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Same video game focus as Wiki-11233, edit warring over non-free images, as Wiki-11233 has been known to do in the past over PlayStation images. Not quite enough evidence for me to block as a duck, and would feel more comfortable with a checkuser confirming that it's our Norwegian sockpuppeteer again. If things are stale, Wiki-11233 has always edited from Telenor addresses. —Kww(talk) 13:16, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
