Current vandalism

Several disruptive edits have been made to this article. Also, because I couldn't verify Asamoah Gyan's transfer to either Galatasaray or Fenerbahce I reverted this biography of a living person to what I think is probably the last correct version. Page protection has been requested.

If anyone has verifiable sources of a transfer, feel free to update the article.

Update: an IP editor added a sentence stating that Gyan is currently negotiating with Fenerbahce. I slightly modified the statement to say that he is being linked to several clubs, including aforementioned Fenerbahce. This still needs proper citation, but I hope that at least this may possibly reduce the amount of vandalism on the article. Hopefully, people will stop editing the article to say Gyan is a Fenerbahce (or Barcelona, or Galatasaray, or any other club) player prematurely. When an actual transfer has been announced officially, the article will of course be updated accordingly but Wikipedia is not the place for spreading rumours and stating things which are simply not (yet) true. Please note that unsourced edits regarding a possible but unconfirmed and unverifiable transfer will still be reverted as soon as I spot them and this page is on my watchlist. Pronunciation of his name incorrect

In every Ghanaian video I've watched in which he's interviewed, his name is pronounced [a-SAM-wah JAHN] .
