gushing nonsense
[edit]About a third of this sycophantic nonsense can be cut. Was this written by the author? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.238.64.127 (talk) 01:36, 20 April 2013 (UTC)
OK I've hacked out as much of the garbage as I can. Still needs sources. My above comment re: author was correct. Maybe DBC has a better editor than we think. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 101.171.213.82 (talk) 03:41, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
"DBC"
[edit]Deleted reference to super 6 as could find no source.
"Pierre"
[edit]A number of press articles (such as this one) say Finlay was nicknamed Pierre after a cartoon character of that name. Does anyone know which character is being referred to? --Thoughtcat 19:27, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
Corn?
[edit]The article refers to him being presented with organic corn in reference to his first encounter with Australian Customs - what was the encounter? Can someone include it in the article somewhere? Adambrowne666 21:17, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Discussion
[edit]Add any additional comments:
- This seemed like a non-controversial move, so I went ahead and deleted DBC Pierre and moved the article there. If anyone has any genuine objections, please let me know. It can be reversed if need be, so don't panic. :) Thanks, Sarah Ewart (Talk) 07:41, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Tilley's
[edit]I have no idea why Tilley's is referred to as a "notorious Speakeasy". It's a well-known Canberra bar and live music venue but opened well after the Prohibition era. Mikenlesley (talk) 07:02, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
Confusing
[edit]The article is totally confusing as it stands... the chronology is all over the place, one minute he's in Mexico, then all of a sudden it's Australia, then England, Mexico.... I mean, he's time-travelling as he does this apparently. Can someone put it in standard chronological order so that it actually makes sense? cheers 91.106.242.18 (talk) 18:35, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
I agree entirely - I have reread it three times trying to work out if he is English, Mexican or Australian... help, please. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.245.143.252 (talk) 12:35, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
