JDM Civic is a rebadged Canadian Acura CSX?
[edit]"The Japanese-market Civic is in fact a rebadged Acura; Honda Japan chose the Canadian-designed Acura CSX as the template for the JDM Civic."
I read the sources but still find it a bit unfathomable for:- 1) Honda Canada to 'design the CSX from the ground up'; 2) Honda Japan to rebadge a Canadian variant for an important world car for JDM and other various export markets.
There's no mention of such 'design from the ground up' in Honda World press release for CSX.--North wiki (talk) 17:27, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
Honda Civic SE trim?
[edit]Is there an SE trim at least for Canada? Because I saw a Civic in Canada with an SE badge on the back. 173.52.164.129 (talk) 12:44, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
Midsize?
[edit]on the information list on the top right of the page why does it say midsize when the Civic is a compact? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.235.89.234 (talk) 15:32, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
- It says midsize because it is midsize. 04:03, 29 April 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bookster451 (talk • contribs)
Civic 2009+ dims wrong
[edit]Dimensions box says:
68.9 in (1,750 mm) (coupe) 69.0 in (1,753 mm) (sedan) 69.3 in (1,760 mm) (2006-08 hatchback) 2,046 mm (81 in) (2009- hatchback) <------- HERE
First, it is inconsistent - inches vs metric system.
Secondly, width of 8th gen of civic mod 2009 didn't change - it is the same. The length of 2.046mm (81 in) is wrong, and it states the width including mirrors. I would leave the same width for both pre 2009, and post 2009... unless I don't know sth :)
Model types ??
[edit]Main civic wiki page lists 10 model type codes. Eighth generation (2005–2011) – FD1 FD2, FD7, FA1, FG1, FG2, FA5, FK, FN, MK8
This page doesn't give any explanation what they are. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.176.86.205 (talk) 09:38, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
