Incorrect etymology

The original authors state that gumnos (p. 86) is Latin for nude, but this word can actually be found in ancient Greek as (gymnos/gumnos) and not in (classical) Latin. Wimpus (talk) 17:41, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well, we should not state as if it were a fact something that isn't true. Perhaps write something like "The specific name is said to be derived from the Latin gumnos.REF The ancient Greek γυμνός means 'nude'.REF" Peter coxhead (talk) 20:04, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
