Untitled

[edit]

Some bloodclaat battyman vandalized Mavado's page. Fixed.

Umm, possibly - anyhow here is an example of the current article - The two artists, who have done a number of songs together, have now released numerous diss tracks aimed at each other. Violence had also erupted in the streets, as a shooting occurred near a popular Mavado hangout and a few days later a shooting incident occurred at a Vybz Kartel hangout. And as Bounty Killer and the rest of The Alliance continue to denounce Vybz, it is unlikely that this feud between two of dancehall's top artists will subside.
This article needs less passion and more Wikipedia:Verifiability to even approach an encyclopedic article. Can anyone help with references etc.? Thank you,

Although not much of a fan of the artist, I will give it a shot. He's certainly more significant an artist than his page reads here.--Chimino (talk) 12:27, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

March 2009

[edit]

Heeeeeey. Just wondering, what the hell is up with that comment about mavado and addi having an "ongoing relationship" and mentoin of "intimacy"?? Please don't slander these artistes' names with this nonesense. If u have PROOF, bring it forward. Otherwise, please have some tact. "your ignorance has blind you from the issue at hand ,the homophobic comments is not a neccesity, its people like you I denounce" 209.94.196.36 (talk) 13:02, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Discography

[edit]

I'm going to trim the discography sections significantly. It is ridiculous to have every tune on every riddim recorded by Mavado to be listed, while information about the actual artist is barely three short paragraphs long.--Chimino (talk) 12:25, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A singles discography would be helpful though, and would be the norm for most music artists on Wikipedia, perhaps (in view of the quantity of them) split off into a separate discography article. Skinsmoke (talk) 08:18, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps singles which have made the Billboard or UK singles charts, but with the quantity of riddims and singles coming out of Jamaica, a full listing of singles from dancehall artists would easily number in the hundreds, including Mavado.--Chimino (talk) 14:10, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

2008 apperance

[edit]

he was featured on G-unit's second album "Terminate On Sight" on the track "Let It Go", please add that.Have A Party (talk) 12:53, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Vybz Kartel

[edit]

Vybz Kartel, to me as an outsider, looks considerably bigger than Mavado. There's an entire section on his page dedicated to his feud with Mavado but nothing on this page to reciprocate. Not a single mention. Someone with knowledge of this should review the two pages and perhaps add some info to this article. Rayman60 (talk) 12:46, 22 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
