Hello everyone!

As a rapidly ageing disabled dude, I spend many hours reading and researching topics that interest me to keep my mind active. And thus, since I am extremely grateful for the presence of this wonderful resource, I thought if I could help out here and there, I would be (in a small way) repaying the favour.

Having been a sub-editor and writer all my active life (quite a while ago now!), I tend to make edits on the fly since my *gift/curse* for spotting little spelling mistakes or slightly askew grammar forces me (OCD?) to correct it!

Furthermore, as a member in good standing of the "International Fraternity Of The Permanently Bedbound", I get many birthday and Chrimble presents of groovy, culty, classic telly series and films by lovely family members. It is during the binge-viewing of this cracking stuff that I discover bits and pieces of information that others might possibly find of some use.

I do crave your indulgence and forgiveness if I make any mistakes - it is truly all done with the best of intentions! Please don't be shy about correcting me when I do get it wrong, and if you have any hints or tips you think I might find helpful, I'd love to hear from you. We're all here to make Wikipedia ever better right?

Similarly, if I have a small nugget of extra information on any other topics I'm currently wading through, then I'll add that to the relevant page - in keeping with the aims and ideals that makes Wikipedia the wonderful resource it is today. And tomorrow.

Lastly, Godspeed and my very best wishes to all you wonderful, creative, fact finding people!

Captain OTR.
