Al Ramirez is a Republican candidate for the United States Senate, taking on Democratic incumbent US Senator Dianne Feinstein. On March 25, 2012 Al Ramirez received the unanimous endorsement of the California Congress of Republicans [1] who's endorsees enjoy the highest winning record in general elections of any Republican endorsing group. [2]
Biography
[edit]Ramirez was born and raised in Dallas, Texas where he attended public and private Catholic schools and graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies. He started working after college at AT&T and has played key leadership roles with companies that revolutionized the way businesses use the Internet including working on the preparation of a successful IPO and holding a senior leadership role at Samsung where his principal responsibility involved working in Seoul, South Korea on the development of new wireless products. He has also provided telecommunications services to support efforts by the Department of Homeland Security to manage the process to deport those here illegally and to help local criminal justice agencies prevent or solve crimes.
