I'm a Free Software advocate and Ubuntu GNU/Linux user living in Seattle.
I've made edits to Wikipedia before without an account, but Wikipedia needs to have transparency of authorship to be seriously considered as a valid index of information.
I'm concerned about the increasing prevalence of fundamentalist religious beliefs undermining our civil society and making global peace impossible. I think that sites like Wikipedia and the Wisdom Commons move us in the right direction towards greater understanding of our world and humanities place thereon.
