Kenneth James Durbin (born 1965 in Denison, Texas) is a leading Bioinformatics researcher specializing in the field of Comparative Genomics, genome assembly and Evolution. His first research in bioinformatics was done on the genome sequence of drosophila melanogaster. [1]
