Karl Gawell has been the Executive Director of the Geothermal Energy Association since 1997, and formerly was Director of Government Affairs for the American Wind Energy Association.[1]
Career
[edit]He has worked for the U.S. Congress, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (formerly the U.S. Solar Energy Research Institute), the Export-Import Bank of the United States, and has been an advisor to the U.S. EPA, the United Nations and the Office of Technology Assessment.[2]
Education
[edit]He has a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) from Georgetown University and studied Economics at the University of Nottingham.[3]
