Positions on NBA rosters

[edit]

Based on your recent edits to NBA rosters, you are invited to join the discussion at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_National_Basketball_Association#Specific_positions_on_team_rosters to help reach a consensus. Thanks.—Bagumba (talk) 05:03, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not change player positions on team pages. There was no consensus before at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_National_Basketball_Association/Archive_33#Specific_positions_on_team_rosters to change to more specific positions. If you disagree, feel free to start a new discussion at WT:NBA. Regards.—Bagumba (talk) 10:05, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Bagumba. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, 2016–17 New York Knicks season, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 10:00, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Template:Orlando Magic roster. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. You've been told before that NBA roster templates use the official info from the team sites. Also, these sites don't use the specific positions, they use the generic G/F/C. This saves space and avoids unnecessary unsubstantiated arguments. Thanks. Rikster2 (talk) 21:04, 26 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
