[edit]@Diannaa: Review (again - see block log) of breadth/duration of current rangeblock would be much appreciated. Covers 02's entire UK broadband network? 82.132.216.74 (talk) 14:21, 26 January 2017 (UTC)
- You need to talk to the blocking admin, Graham87. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:46, 26 January 2017 (UTC)
- Will do. Thanks! 82.132.216.74 (talk) 14:51, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

- Oh, I didn't realise it was that large ... but the IP's I'm dealing with range from 82.132.216.74 to 82.132.216.74, so that's the smallest range which could be effective. The range has a rather lengthy block log, Mike V, you've blocked this range twice for a month in the recent past – could you comment here? This block doesn't stop you from editing with an account – if you need one, there are ways to get one of your own. I feel that we're here to create an encyclopedia, not to play whac-A-Mole with vandals, so I'm not inclined to reduce the range/duration of the block without a very good reason. - Also see the history of Folklore (Nelly Furtado album) for an idea of the kind of editor we're dealing with. Graham87 16:05, 26 January 2017 (UTC)
@Graham87: Thanks for the swift reply. Given the breadth, maybe you could consider a substantial reduction in duration and then reinstate if necessary? I appreciate it is important to deal as efficiently as possible with these problems, but I do wonder if a block of this scale doesn't cause at least as much disruption as the edits that instigated it, if not more. 82.132.216.74 (talk) 16:37, 26 January 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for your nte. On further reconsideration, I've gone and reduced it to two months. Graham87 04:44, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
