The connection between James Marsden and Birchover is very tenuous - such a remote relationship really doesn't warrant mention in the article, I'm afraid. Also, you have not provided a citation - see WP:CITE. Wikipedia is not a free-for-all, or a repository for any scrap of information. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. The sourced info in the article says the Labrador Retriever was first bred in the UK -- if you can find reliable sources that explicitly state that the breed is Canadian or Canadian-British then go ahead and add them in Blue Edits (talk) 11:06, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

To add, please also stop forcing unnecessary Oxford commas upon articles. Unless there is an ambiguity to be resolved or for internal consistency in the article (and this does not seem to be the case in your edits) the lack of a comma is a perfectly valid style choice and should not be alterd purely on the basis of your own personal preference.
