Warnings
[edit]January 2009
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Petronas Twin Towers, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. THE AMERICAN METROSEXUAL (talk) 23:58, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Petronas Twin Towers. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. I know you're new, but why did you vandalize the exact same way again after the warning? THE AMERICAN METROSEXUAL (talk) 00:02, 13 January 2009 (UTC) My mistake; you didn't. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from KFX. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. List of Korean musicians
[edit]I appreciate your good-faith edits on List of Korean musicians. I generally do not like to be a source of any edit war so I will personally discuss this with you.
Yes I am not from South Korea, I am from Pakistan. Yet I am the one who made this well-organized list for Koreans because they had not done this themselves. Wikipedia is not about where editor is from. It is about good-faith and proper editing.
Firstly, you have a point there. There are Chinese artists in the list. But the criteria for adding entries is NOT the nationality of the artists. It is the language they use. If it was about the nationality, the list would be named List of South Korean musicians.
Secondly, this is about music, which includes ballad singers, k-pop singers. Musicians not only includes vocalists but also instrumentalists. Music is music. If you have to be specific to k-pop, please edit List of K-pop artists instead.
If you will not reply me in three days time. I will consider reverting your edits. I will also add footnotes that would explain the readers that these artists are not of Korean ethnicity. Farjad0322 (talk) 19:54, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
Edtiors can edit any article
[edit]This edit summary [1] is completly inappropriate and inaccurate. Editors most certainly DO NOT need to be from any particular country to edit a particular article. Active Banana ( bananaphone 20:12, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
List articles MUST have definition criteria
[edit]Please stop this [2]. WP:LIST articles MUST have definition criteria. If you do not aggree with the current criteria you need to come to a consensus on the talk page about what the criteria should be. Active Banana ( bananaphone 14:54, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
Hi! Please participate in the voting discussion for criteria of listing at Talk:List of Korean musicians. Thanks! Farjad0322 (talk) 18:22, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
