Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.  You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. Request reason:

I represent North Carolina's Eastern Region (nceast.org). I was asked to design a Wikipedia page that did not promote the company, but discuss the objectives of the company. The page is designed to discuss the economic clusters in Eastern North Carolina and why the area is good for relocation. My boss does not want it to be about North Carolina's Eastern Region as much as the 13 counties we cover. I cannot make any headway on this project with this block, so what is the quickest way to get it removed if this is not enough. Do I need to change my name or do I need to link it with the official @nceast.org email address? NC East (talk) 19:53, 12 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline, I suppose. Yes, you will have to change your name - we don't approve of names that appear to represent organisations. Even less do we like ones containing email addresses - I think that except for a couple of very early ones, they're banned... Get away from the org. Don't use your real name (unless you really really want to... some do). Do read WP:COI. It's not forbidden, but it does tend to make editing difficult. I declined because you will need to use the other template. Don't save - use preview, and check the availability of the name. Then save when you've got one that will run. Can be anything - Herbert Twinkle, The Nettle Fairy, Big Bill Baskerville or almost anything. Peridon (talk) 20:22, 12 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again.
