[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Australian College of Kuwait has been reverted.
Your edit here to Australian College of Kuwait was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/c/AUKuwait) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. music or video) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 09:46, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Orange Mike | Talk 11:30, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

The main intention of this account is to update the title from Australian College of Kuwait to Australian University and to change the logo correspondingly. This account has no other intention and will not repeat the edits that lead to blocking.

Decline reason:

Your choice of new username is not individualistic enough. You do not need to(and are advised against it) use your real name, but your username must be unique to you. Since you say there is nothing else you want to contribute about, there are no grounds to remove the block. 331dot (talk) 16:31, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I understand that the username is not individualistic. I hence like to appeal for a change of my username to OrangeBlueposter and my intentions are pure and are intended only to provide accurate updates on pages so the readers have the right information. Therefore I humbly request to unblock and give me a second chance to prove it.

Decline reason:

Procedural decline so you can use {{unblock-un}} to request a new username and unblock at the same time. (And for my part I see nothing wrong about using one's real name) — Daniel Case (talk) 06:11, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This does not convince me you have even read WP:COI, let alone explain how you'll adhere to that policy. Yamla (talk) 09:53, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
