Information icon Hello, Orange Maroc. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Orange Morocco, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 21:20, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Orange Morocco, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 21:20, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 20:55, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your email

[edit]

Hi! You've sent me an email, thank you! But there's nothing in it that can't be openly discussed, so I'm going to (partially) reply here. There are instructions for asking to be unblocked in the yellow-orange template immediately above this. There are two parts to this: dealing with the username problem; and dealing with the inappropriate edits.

For the username, you'll need to choose a one that represents you as an individual; it doesn't have to be a real name. If you want to make clear that you are connected to the company, you can choose a name such as "Mark at Orange Maroc", but not a name such as "SEO at Orange Maroc" – the name has to be personal, not the name of a position or function. I can rename the account for you.

You'll also need to respond to the three bullet-points in the template (disclose... – convince... – describe...). I or someone else will review what you say. It's relatively unlikely that your account will be unblocked if your only interest and purpose here is to edit the page on your company. I hope to be able to welcome you as a new contributor to this project. Regards, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 17:00, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
