A tag has been placed on Orange Apps, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. TheLongTone (talk) 12:59, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended for publicity and/or promotional purposes. If you intend to edit constructively in other topic areas, you may be granted the right to continue under a change of username. Please read the following carefully.
Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, website or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not, although if you can demonstrate a pattern of future editing in strict accordance with our neutral point of view policy, you may be granted this right. See Wikipedia's FAQ for Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again.

What can I do now?

If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you may consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you do intend to make useful contributions here about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
    • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
    • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Yunshui  13:15, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I don't know why I am blocked. I created this account for our start-up company. The CEO commands me to create a wikipedia article for our company. Please unblock me. I need to finish the job asap -.-'

Decline reason:

You need to tell your CEO that Wikipedia is not a marketing platform for your startup company. You can also show your CEO the links provided in the box above regarding organizations and conflict of interest. --jpgordon::==( o ) 14:54, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

(Non-administrator observation) You've been blocked because you seem to be using Wikipedia for advertising, which is not allowed. Your company will have an article on Wikipedia only if you can show that others have talked about it; this is called notability (official guideline, brief summary). The FAQ for organizations has more information for people who want to write about their organization. Anon126 (notify me of responses! / talk / contribs) 14:28, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You will be unblocked only if you choose a new username and show that you understand how Wikipedia treats contributions from organizations. (You should read the pages I linked and follow the links in the organizations FAQ.) To request another unblock with a proposed new username, add the code {{unblock-un|user=New username|reason=Reasoning}}. Decline reason:

As stated above, using the name of your company as a username is inappropriate. As stated above, if the CEO "commands" that you write an article on Wikipedia, you should provide him information on notability and conflict of interest. Kinu t/c 19:58, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I didn't know that it is restricted to use our company name for our username. I apologize for my mistake. Hope you will unblock me. I will not do it again.

Decline reason:

I can count five separate messages above, which in different ways explain to you that editing Wikipedia on behalf of your company for the purpose of promoting it is unacceptable. You have now three times posted unblock requests which fail to give any indication that you intend to do anything other than use Wikipedia as a free web host for your company, including two which explicitly indicate that you intend to do just that. Since each time you post an unblock request which completely misses the point you waste time for administrators, and there seems to be no prospect of your doing anything more constructive, your talk page access will be removed.
