Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended for publicity and/or promotional purposes. Please read the following carefully.
Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, website or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements, and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not. See Wikipedia's FAQ for Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again.

What can I do now?

If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you will probably not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you do intend to make useful contributions about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Alexf(talk) 15:41, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Dear Alex, my wiki-nickname is not intend for promotional aims, as you could think! I was registered on Wiki several months ago in order to took part in Ukrainian "Wiki loves monuments" and I even have had winning place (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2012_in_Ukraine/top10). I have my own blog (http://a-designer.net) about photography, design and arts. Obviously, it is named after my own usual nickname. Today I made a big post with pictures of an artist Rob Gonsalves. When I discovered, that Wiki does not have many links to the galleries with his pictures, I decided to add links to my blog. Could it be a violation of the rules? if it is, I will delete them. Sincerely, A-designer.)

Decline reason:

Linking to your blog was very bad: that's WP:PROMO, WP:SPAM and a violation of the external links policy. You will most definitely need to address these issues before being unblocked. As well, since your blog matches your username, it now formally violates the username policy and cannot be used on Wikipedia (✉→BWilkins←✎) 01:08, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

So, as far as I understood, my account was blocked because I placed links to a personal blog. Please, unblock it so I could remove them from Rob Gonsalves' page and upload my images directly to the artist's page instead.

Decline reason:

Per below. Use {{unblock-un}} to propose a new username. — Daniel Case (talk) 01:07, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No; you're blocked because 1) your username fails our username policy, and you spammed Wikipedia with promotional links to you blog. As such, the unbloc request will need to be one that both requests unblocking to change usernames, AND confirms to the project that additional spam will not occur (✉→BWilkins←✎) 12:16, 22 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
