Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ThemFromSpace 10:39, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think we are being a bit harsh here. The BBC is a reliable source in Wikipedia and their history sites are informative. If a member of BBC Wales wants to create an ID then insertion of appropriate material is fine. OK they need to change the name per policy. I have reinserted the material on two articles where I think its very useful --Snowded TALK 11:25, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Reliable sources can be spammed inappropriately and this isn't the first time I have seen an account owned by the BBC used for the sole purpose of linking to their website. If a link is a reliable source it should be used to source material, but most of the links from this contributor don't belong in external links sections and should be removed per WP:EL and WP:LINKSPAM. Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a few moments to create a new account with a username that represents only you. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may ask for a review of this username block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}. Thank you. - Dank (push to talk) 12:14, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Replying to your email please create a new account that represents just you, not the organization. Thanks. - Dank (push to talk) 14:59, 1 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
