Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended for publicity and/or promotional purposes. If you intend to edit constructively in other topic areas, you may be granted the right to continue under a change of username. Please read the following carefully.
Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, website or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not, although if you can demonstrate a pattern of future editing in strict accordance with our neutral point of view policy, you may be granted this right. See Wikipedia's FAQ for Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again.

What can I do now?

If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you may consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you do intend to make useful contributions here about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
    • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
    • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Alexf(talk) 12:02, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on BioPlasmic Modulation Therapy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Request reason:

This article is not about a company or organisation but about an ancient indian traditional system of medicine. None of the documents or references are patented or no copyright infringes have been made. If you wish to delete this page you may do so..but please provide an appropriate reason first. We are trying to develop Indian traditional systems and request your support to promote ancient heritage systems. Thank you. Regarding for my username, I created this wiki account primarily for starting this wiki page...I did not know about your username policies. I am ready to change the username if required.

Decline reason:

Wikipedia is an effort to create a free encyclopedia; we are not attempting "to promote ancient heritage systems". On the other hand, clearly you are attempting to promote something, and in this context, I'm declining your request to be unblocked. PhilKnight (talk) 13:41, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Your input is appreciated Mr.Phil, but I would kindly urge the admins to reconsider. With reference to the five foundation pillars of Wikipedia - it is an encyclopedia. The wikipedia definition of an encyclopedia is "a type of reference work or compendium holding a comprehensive summary of information from either all branches of knowledge or a particular branch of knowledge." In the spirit of that definition, all science and knowledge should be acceptable, not a prejudiced selection of knowledge. The content of this article is not promoting a single person or organisation or a method. It is knowledge that has been scripturally established for millennia. We do not require you or any medium to promote this knowledge, rather we are sharing that knowledge with you and the world. In that sense yes, we are promoting a science, but the very purpose of an encyclopedia is to promote real knowledge and make it publicly accessible. I would urge the administrators to read the article closely (It is not completely finished because I wasn't given the chance to complete it) and upkeep your role as a promoter of real knowledge. Edit : We are willing to amend any area(s) of the article that have flavours of commercial promotion. Please assist us in this matter so the correct changes can be made. We are practitioners of the system, not promoters, and hence our perspective might materialise at certain points of the article. We have seen the results of this system from a number of institutions and hospitals, and would like to spread the knowledge behind this system to the public using this wide platform. Kindly suggest the required changes

Decline reason:

I am primarily declining this because there is another open request at the bottom of the page, but if there weren't I would not delay in telling you that your yada yada yada I-didn't-hear-that approach to these requests isn't winning you a lot of friends, and if you keep this up you may well lose access to even this talk page. — Daniel Case (talk) 17:42, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi.

  1. You seem to alternate between "we" and "I". Please note that only one person can have an account, and if there are any others they will need to make their own accounts.
  2. Conflict of interest editing is usually seen as not okay. You would have to propose your changes on Talk:BioPlasmic Modulation Therapy.

Request reason:

Thank you Origamite. Rest assured there is only one person behind this account. I used the word 'we' in the context of the wide platform that we are writing about. That might have been due to a slight lack of my language skills. I would post my proposed edits on the talk page but I am not allowed to do so at the moment. I'll give you a brief of what I plan to do once allowed to edit - Proposed edits are uploading media in the infobox (Map of ancient India). The word Developers and Promoters in the infobox also needs to be removed as that appears to have commercial overtones. I need to complete the article with a set of medical procedures and their purpose. My account was blocked before I could complete it. BPMTherapy (talk) 02:55, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

It is clear that, no matter how many times you are told, you fail to grasp the point. Your editing has clearly been an attempt to use Wikipedia to publicise and bring to the notice of the world your methods, and to impress upon readers how wonderful those methods are: that is to say, to promote them. It is also clear from your unblock requests that you intend to continue editing for that same purpose. Doing so is contrary to Wikipedia policy. Furthermore, repeatedly posting effectively the same unblock request (even if in somewhat different words) is nothing but a waste of time, both for you and for the administrators who assess your unblock requests, and are therefore taken away from other work. Your talk page access will therefore be removed. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 16:05, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Another of the five pillars: Wikipedia is written from a neutral point of view

[edit]

I notice that you cited one of the five pillars of Wikipedia in your unblock request. Yes, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and it does contain a wide variety of information. However, this information must come from reliable sources of information, and it must be presented impartially. You may read the second pillar, "Wikipedia is written from a neutral point of view" for more detail. Anon126 (notify me of responses! / talk / contribs) 10:53, 27 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
