Shivpuri,Sirgora is a "Coal Mine town" at Chhindwara district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

Transportation

Shivpuri,Sirgora is well connected to big cities like Chhindwara,Nagpur and Jablpur by road and rail. The Chhindwara railway station is the junction which is far form 21 K.M to Shivpuri,sirgora. Patalkot express trains and panchvalley passenger train are well connected Chhindwara to Indore, Chhindwara to Jablpur, Chhindwara to Nagpur, Chhindwara to Bhopal, Chhindwara to Delhi , The most common and preferred mode of transportation is via road. The national highway connects chhindwara (Shivpuri,Sirgora) with Bhopal,Jablpur and Nagpur. The nearest bus station is Chhindwara bus station And Parasia.

Shivpuri,Sirgora is one of the bigest mine in pench area Wcl in chhindwara District of Madhya Pradesh. It is located about 17 km west of Parasia and is just 19 km South-west of the district headquarters, Chhindwara.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[1] Sirgora had a population of 8485. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Sirgora has an average literacy rate of 63%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 72%, and female literacy is 54%. In Sirgora, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Adivasi festivals name pola,madai,goverdhan pooja are most common in town,Holi is most fevorite festival of adivasi. Durga pooja Navrartri is biggest festival in Shivpuri Sirgora, 4 number ground is famous for Durga pooja which is conducted by Durga pooja samiti under MR.R.P Mourya, Ganesh pooja most common which is celebrated by the common men in his/her own home

Durga Mandir is located in mane market shivpuri,sirgora, Hanuman Mandir is one of oldest temple in Shivpuri,sirgora, Tow Kali Mandir is present in shivpuri sirgora every year.
