Information icon Hi Canadadry01! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Duck Soup (1933 film) that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. [edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Central line (London Underground). Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use your sandbox. Thank you.

This is the edit in question: Special:Diff/1125260290. If you meant to do something similar to what you did in the Metropolitan line article – change the order of the conversion, rather than the length itself (Special:Diff/1125260200) – then you should please familiarise yourself with the policy at MOS:UNITS: In non-scientific articles with strong ties to the United Kingdom, the primary units for most quantities are metric or other internationally used units, except that ... the primary units for distance/length, speed and fuel consumption are miles, miles per hour, and miles per imperial gallon (except for short distances or lengths, where miles are too large for practical use).

Information icon Please do not use misleading edit summaries when making changes to Wikipedia pages, as you did to Vince Guaraldi and the Lost Cues from the Charlie Brown Television Specials, Volume 2. This behavior is viewed as disruptive, and continuation may result in loss of editing privileges. Special:Diff/1125364355 – changing the presentation of a date range does not count as "fixing [a] typo". Please also note the policy at MOS:DATERANGE that says the full year should be used on both sides of a range whenever there is space for it. XAM2175 (T) 23:21, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

August 2023

[edit]

Information icon Please do not use misleading edit summaries when making changes to Wikipedia pages, as you did to San Fernando Valley. This behavior is viewed as disruptive, and continuation may result in loss of editing privileges. Making substantial changes to text does not count as "fixing typos", and absolutely do not count as minor edits. Your changes do not seem to match the source as well. ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:55, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
