Your username

[edit]

Hello, Comedy Kings Australia. Your username seems to imply that you are representing an organization, or that the account may be used by more than one person. Because of copyright attribution issues, Wikipedia has a policy that all editors must be individual people, not groups of any kind (see WP:ISU).

If you are going to continue contributing to Wikipedia, as I hope you will, you should probably change your username to one that complies with this policy (Wikipedia:Changing username explains how, or you can just make a new account since you've only made a few edits). Something like Comedy King Suzie or Funny Freddie from Australia, or Joe the Comedy King or anything like that would do it, as long as it indicates one person. —Anne Delong (talk) 09:36, 1 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again; I received your email. If you post a message here I will see it; once I edit a page it goes on my watchlist. If you want to leave a message for an editor, you can edit his or her talk page. Notice the word "talk" after my signature - you can just click on it and it will take you to the right page to edit.

There is one thing that you may be able to do to improve the Dave Grant article: it could use a photograph. Wikipedia can't use pictures that are on web pages or in promotional material because they are copyrighted; usually the photographer owns the copyright. If you have a photograph of Dave that you took yourself, and are willing to donate it to Wikipedia, you can upload it at Wikimedia Commons. It has to be one that you don't mind giving away, because once it's on Wikipedia anyone can use it. It can either be a headshot or a picture of him performing. If you decide to do this, I can help you get it into the article.—Anne Delong (talk) 16:12, 1 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
