If you post a message on this page, I'll reply to it here. Thanks

Zan

[edit]

Why removed what Zan is called in the Japanese version? The Streets of Rage 3 article also mentioned what Skate was also called in that game. FoxLad 22:34, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'd left a message on the talk page explaining it but am happy to discuss it. I guess any discussion should continue there rather than here. -- DatRoot 00:04, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Gandhi Khan

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Gandhi Khan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Dougie WII 18:19, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:3 Ninjas Kick Back Genesis Screenshot.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:3 Ninjas Kick Back Genesis Screenshot.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:16, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Section bar

[edit]

Yeah, I knew that. But if you're, say, visiting a page for the first time and you find a section you like, it'd help you in case you forgot the name. Best, --Gp75motorsports 01:23, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nosy

[edit]

I was being nosy and trying it on my css, and I blanked the wrong css subpage after having a look at it. It's a good design, but it doesn't quite integrate with what I've got. My apologies for messing about, Steve block Talk 15:34, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Replied at Steve block's talk page.

I saw that you had cut down on this page significantly so I'd like to transwiki it to StrategyWiki. Which revision has the most information in it? -- Prod-You 21:09, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, it would be this version. I think I might help with the StrategyWiki article myself. -- DatRoot 23:38, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I've transwikid it over to StrategyWiki:Streets of Rage. I hope to see you around :) -- Prod-You 04:18, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Cool. I'll have to take a moment to read up all the rules there. -- DatRoot 11:01, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Aero the Acro-Bat 2 Genesis Screenshot.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Aero the Acro-Bat 2 Genesis Screenshot.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:03, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Days of Song & Sorrow requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.faramarzaslani.com/about. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
