Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. plicit 04:24, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You have not proposed a new username as instructed, that reflects that this account is exclusively used by a single person.

You have several misunderstandings about Wikipedia and what we do here. Wikipedia does not claim its information is reliable, does not claim to be a reliable source, nor does it claim to be unbiased- which is impossible. Everyone has biases. Wikipedia presents sources to readers so they can evaluate and judge them for themselves as to bias and other factors in determining what they think or believe.

Wikipedia is also not for merely providing information. It summarizes what independent reliable sources state about topics deemed notable by Wikipedia.

Your edits clearly promoted your blog. You don't have to be selling something. Please see WP:PROMO, WP:COI, and WP:PAID. You won't be unblocked to, in the short term, further edit about your blog. If that is your only goal here, this is the end of the road. If you are interested in being a general contributor and editing about topics for which you have no conflict of interest, please tell what those might be. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 08:08, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Your account name is the same as your website, which violates Wikipedia's username policy. Account names cannot represent companies, organizations, websites or groups of people. Accounts are for individuals, and the name must reflect individual use.

Furthermore, you seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding about Wikipedia's purpose. As stated in the conflict of interest guidelines:

As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia's mission is to provide the public with articles that summarize accepted knowledge, written neutrally and sourced reliably. Readers expect to find neutral articles written independently of their subject, not corporate or personal webpages, or platforms for advertising and self-promotion. Articles should contain only material that complies with Wikipedia's content policies and best practices, and Wikipedians must place the interests of the encyclopedia and its readers above personal concerns.

Wikipedia is not a directory, so a company/organization/website is not entitled to have a Wikipedia article just because it exists. All topics must be notable by Wikipedia's definition to merit inclusion. In the specific case of a company, it must meet the notability criteria for companies and organizations. For this to happen, the company must have already received significant coverage in multiple reliable and independent sources. We have no interest in what a company wishes to say about itself, as this is an inherent conflict of interest. Simply using Wikipedia to publicize the existence a non-notable topic is considered promotion; you do not necessarily need to be selling goods or services.

Reliable sources are sources that have an proven reputation for fact-checking and editorial oversight. This heavily favours established, mainstream sources such as major news organizations, academic press, and reputable publishers of newspapers, books and magazines. Sources for biomedical content must conform to Wikipedia's reliable sources for medicine guidelines. Sources of unknown or dubious provenance, or self-published sources consisting of user-generated content will not be considered reliable. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 05:54, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
